You've Got The Love

Just watched Sex and the city the final ever episode and like yesterday I was reminded of a lot of different things really.

The song you've got the love just completely takes me to my final day as a fresher coming home from my last media exam to hear that song blasting being handed a drink and just wondering how I ever worried about moving to uni.

Today is feeling like a good day.

Two posts in as many days, not that anyone is reading. But still this feels good, like i am achieving something i have wanted to do for ages.. writing. I used to write all the time when i was at uni, for courses, for me, for anything! Because i have been using the internet on my phone because my laptop is on the fritz whenever i sit at a computer it all seems MASSIVE. 


This blog writing malarkey is turning out to be a very cathartic thing. currently I'm sitting in my biggest warmest scruffiest grey hoodie in a dim room and my feet are slightly too cold. But I'm listening to Travis on spotify a band whom i have loved for as long as i can remember loving music. Its funny because now listening to them transports me back to being seventeen and travelling around the country with my best friend Ellie. It reminds me of being in London at Christmas time when everything was magical and nothing seemed impossible. It reminds me of glitter and Starbucks and laughing until you cant breathe anymore, It reminds me of Smirnoff ice and of fish and chips. It reminds me of Harrods and of awe. I love that about music, truly it can transport you anywhere. 


But Travis for me will always remind me of Ellie and I and of knowing I could do anything and that anything was possible. As i write this i miss my friend so much, she only lives an hour away but we have been through so much together amazing and devastating and she is and will always be the person I can look at across a crowded room and communicate something with a look. 


Anyway! Awesome times. 

Trying to find some Zen

Feeling totally off balance today, maybe because I watched a 9/11 doc earlier that has totally freaked me out. Or because between the hours of 8 and 10 this morning I dreamed i was being chased down by a crazed gunman who had just shot down my friend. I mean to be fair it ended pretty well i begged for my life and he shot me in the throat but I managed to wrestle the gun from him, BONUS. But still not ideal to wake up from. Man i hate feeling weird.

Super Frustrated

Oh my word i came on here for the first time in ages intending to blog about wonderful things and decided to try and set it up so i could blog from my Blackberry and now after about an hour i haven't figured out how to do it.

Winter Is Here

Walking to work today and everything was frosty, which was lovely for about 4 seconds, then my face was freeeeezing for the rest of the way, I needed a hot water bottle for my face by the time i got into the office, not fun! 

Another thing that really isn't fun is the fact that when I step out of bed in the morning I may as well be doing this... 

Anyway aside the cold I don't have much gossip at the moment just trying to keep my head down at work and be good, which isn't always fun but in the current climate is wise. Boo Boring boring boring,
