Oh The Horror

Hey!

So here's a little fact that you may or may not know about me, It's quite an impressive yet utterly useless hidden talent I possess. Once I have seen your face, or a face I generally don't tend to forget it... Now I realise this doesn't sound too impressive, however when watching a film or television show if I have seen someone before not only do I recognise them but I can usually tell you exactly where I have seen them before.

Hmmm, It's not sounding as impressive written down. Just ask my friends though it's pretty weird!

But not as weird as this photo where the man looks like a thumb.

Moving on, I was watching The Hunger Games Dvd the other night (see previous post if you don't know how much I love it.) Post on Hunger Games! (just click me) and I reconised one of the minor characters Clove.

She plays Clove the tribute from District two, just in case you were wondering! So I was trying to recall where I had seen this girl and was finding it more difficult than normal... Until slowly my brain started to piece it all together and I could feel the slow cold creep of horror crawling up my back....

She's from the Orphan!...
Uurrrggghhhhhhh

My heart is dying a bit even at the fact I just looked up this photo and now it's on my blog, Is she looking at me? I feel like she's looking at me.

Sometimes when i'm really freaking myself out when I am trying to go to sleep in a dark room this is what I think about.

Neither do I after this blog...
The above picture of the boy is from the Ring, I seriously cannot put a photo of that girl on here or I will never sleep again. Another thought though this kid has played two really bad ass roles in  films so if you see her out and about be fricking careful!  I don't want to write anything else on here because there are too many photos of scary children.

Sleep well, I know I won't.

Winter isn't all bad!

I'm just going to come out and say it.

I LOVE WINTER

There, I've said it! As much as I do love the summer because it generally means getting to hang out with friends while it's still light late into the evening and weekends at the beach, or sunbathing in the park... Oh no wait, we live in England and it just rains ALL SUMMER LONG.

Expectation of summer:

Reality:

Also I think that a little bit of me still connects summer with being off on holiday from school or University which when I didn't have a job meant endless summer weeks of adventures and fun. When really going to work from 9-5 Monday to Friday and only feeling the sunshine (if it isn't raining) on your 30 minute lunch break.

So that was all a bit negative... here's the reasons I love winter!

1) Christmas! Duh, Amazing!
2) Hats, I fricking love hats.
3) Gloves
4) Scarves

5) You don't have to feel bad about staying indoors
6) You don't get sunburn within 3 minutes of leaving the house! You can just walk around outdoors NOT getting burnt!
7) TV always gets more dramatic towards Christmas
8) Hoodies
9) Wellies!
10) Winter food is just tasty.
11) Mulled Wine
12) It's darker for longer! I like night time... When i'm not busy thinking about scary things creeping around the house.
13) Snow, I do hate it when said snow turns to a sheet of ice. Still love how pretty everything is though!

14) Christmas Markets
15) Cosy Pubs
16) The absence of those scary girls who wear the shorts that let there arse hang out... you know the ones.
17) When you wake up in winter and the weather is rubbish you can think, oh well it is winter. Unlike the despair you feel when you wake up and it's been raining all week... in august.
18) Same goes for sunshine in winter. Sunny cold days are the absolute best.
19) Starbucks Gingerbread Lattes
20) Bonfire night

21) Giant slipper socks
22) Trips to visit friends in different cities. Liverpool is awesome in the winter.

That's 22 reasons not to get depressed because winter is nearly here!

Anyway guys hope your week is going splendidly, I need to go and get ready to meet the lovely Kim for coffee and a catch up. Kim you are now blog famous.

Mondays are not fun days

Guys I need to share something with you today...

It's Monday and I am crashing really hard after an alcohol fulled weekend. I probably had a few too many glasses of wine last night so all throughout today I have been suffering with the blues. You know the kind that make you feel like you will never have another drink as long as you live? Yeah.

Then I realised things could be so, so much worse...
Source: Jokeroo.com
One day I really will give up drinking and i'm sure my life will be much healthier, I don't see it happening for a good while though. Drunken stories are just too much fun...

Like dressing up as a pirate for Halloween, dancing on a wall and falling off... onto your face.

The injury is just below my eye... Could have been worse!
Anyway all my recent blogs seem to be about alcohol so let me move swiftly on to tell you guys that I was hanging up some clothes in my wardrobe (for weeks I have just been draping things over the rail). For a while now I have been thinking I only owned about three or maybe four pairs of jeans... I decided to split my wardrobe to tops and jumpers on the top rail and trousers on the bottom and here are the results.

So many trousers I forgot I had!
My wardrobe felt like Narnia, I just kept reaching in and pulling out things I had completely forgotten about!
At one point even Mr Tumnus made an appearance...
Source: lundmolfese.com
But sadly I had to send him back through... Who am I kidding we all know if I had met Mr Tumnus we would have been friends forever!!

Also I thought i'd show you the top part...

So that has pretty much been my Monday guys! Oh except when I pinned my dog upside down and took this photo.

Hiya!
Throughout this whole post my eye has been burning due to me rubbing perfume in it about half an hour ago. Perfect.

I really want to redesign this blog but the thought of doing that is giving me anxiety. I think that might be a job for tomorrow, or never.

So thanks for tuning in to today's episode, you can also find me over on

This Summer

Guys, It's been a while since i've done this...

Here's what you have missed in the last two months:

Drinking...
Drinking...
Drinking... Glow Stick Style
Drinking...
Drinking... but not on the dancefloor

Drinking... Free wine from work
Drinking... and cake!
Drinking... Overpriced V Fest Beer
Drinking... and dancing to DJ Fresh
Drinking... In torrential rain
Drinking... with friends I don't get to see enough!
Drinking... dancing, doing shots, getting sunburnt and Usain Bolting to David Guetta

So basically this summer has been awesome, friends, alcohol, festivals and more alcohol. Now you know why I haven't been around here much.
